Conference program

The Welcome Reception has been moved to TUESDAY 22 November 2014 and, as a consequence, the Poster Session has also moved to the Wednesday 23 November 2014.

Please note that venue for the Welcome Reception is no longer available on the Monday evening as, at the request of The President of the French Republic in New Caledonia, the venue will be used Monday evening for events associated with the G20 summit meeting.

Welcome reception at Tjibaou Center - 19:15 Tuesday, 18 November 2014
The opening ceremony of the international symposium SERA will take place in the Cultural Center Tjibaou. The ceremony will begin with a traditionnal welcome of the international delegation (custom) then by official discourses (personalities and presidents of the organizing institutions) and will be followed by a dining cocktail.

Poster session in Venezia 3 room - 18:00 Wednesday 19 November 2014
Poster session authors must display their poster on Tuesday November 18th. Posters may be exhibited each day of the conference. Poster numbers are listed in the book of Conference Proceedings and in the poster room. The assigned time period where authors informally discuss their presentations with conference attendees is Wednesday November 19th at 18:00.
To contribute to the friendly atmosphere of this interactive session, the Local Organizing Committee will offer a Fench Wine and cheese degustation.

Social student event at IRD Campus - 19:30 Wednesday 19 November 2014
The student social event will be located at the IRD Campus (Development and Research Institute). The IRD site is located 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the Nouvata park hotel. Four new post-doctorate researchers will present their environmental consultancy structure, their business field and especially, the difficulties and helpful hints they encountered during their process to create their structure. Soon after, the student social event will close with cocktails served to the assembly at the IRD garden place.

Conference banquet (optional) at Îlot Maître - 18:30 Friday 21 November 2014
A good opportunity to meet and network with colleagues is at the conference dinner Bus shuttles and after boat shutlle will transfer all participants from the Nouvata Complex Hotel to the dinner location.
